About the 2nd Schoolhouse Quilt Competition & Exhibition:
The Allegany Arts Council is excited to announce the 2nd Schoolhouse Quilt Competition & Exhibition to take place June 21-23, 2024, at the Allegany County Fairgrounds.
This event, launched in 2022, took the long-running Schoolhouse Quilt Guild bi-annual show and expanded its footprint, highlighting the traditional Appalachian art form of quilting, to a national competition.
Offering more than $5000 in prizes, workshops with well-known quilters and educators, appraisals, and a vendor marketplace, you won't want to miss it!
